Building a Stronger Britain Together (BSBT) Progress Report 2019 Interim evaluation findings

Details

Building a Stronger Britain Together (BSBT) was launched by the Home Office in 2016 as the main work programme under the Government’s 2015 Counter-Extremism (CE) Strategy. This progress report, with a foreword from the Minister for Countering Extremism Baroness Williams, provides an update on what BSBT has delivered to date. It also presents the programme’s interim findings, including evidence of impact across all BSBT’s target outcomes at individual, organisation and community level.

BSBT has created a network of over 240 civil society organisations, which have received around £8.8 million of government funding since 2016. Those organisations who received grants during the first three calls for applications are estimated to have engaged up to 228,670 individuals.
