British Pipeline Agency Limited: application made to abstract water

British Pipeline Agency Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is to vary licence serial number TH/038/0008/049 which authorises the abstraction of water from the underground strata comprising of Alluvium and River Terrace Deposits at Fishers Green Lane, Essex for the purpose of dewatering.
The variation applied for is to change the existing points of abstraction to National Grid References TL 37644 02649 (A) and TL 37730 02646 (B).
The variation is also to change the quantities licensed from point A to:

15 cubic metres an hour

360 cubic metres a day

12,600 cubic metres a year
-
at an instantaneous rate not exceeding 4.2 litres per second.
and from point B to:

36 cubic metres an hour

850 cubic metres a day

29,750 cubic metres a year

at an instantaneous rate not exceeding 9.9 litres per second.
