Details of the application

Breedon Trading Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number MD/028/0036/009 which authorises the abstraction of water into a sealed tank which discharges into the Ramsley Brook at National Grid Reference SK 41340 21920.

The variation is to add two additional purposes of wheel washing and mobile jet wash, and to increase volumes by:

  • 5 cubic metres an hour up to 141 cubic metres an hour

  • 43 cubic metres a day up to 1,409 cubic metres a day

  • 10,727 cubic metres a year up to 296,745 cubic metres a year.
