First bilateral Chancellor visit in almost 20 years shows British business firmly back in Brazil, and supporting UK recovery. Celebrates successes in oil and gas and sports infrastructure and launches new £1.5bn infrastructure High Value Opportunity. Announces support for private sector export finance. Global launch of £375m SIN Newton Fund and £9m Brazilian co-funding will deepen science links. New ministerial Economic and Financial Dialogue will strengthen bilateral economic cooperation and support deepening trade and investment links.
