Osney reach, Botley Road Bridge, upstream of East Street Moorings.
Details
Essential scaffolding works are to be undertaken on the Botley Road Bridge, and the construction of a floating pontoon to facilitate works.
These works require bridge arch closure and services delays.
These works will require the temporary closures of the navigation for periods during the dates outlined above.
Additionally, banksmen will be advising boaters of temporary closures during this period. Masters are requested to obey instructions given by the contractor’s banksmen.
The exact hours when periodic, short-term closures will occur will be agreed on the dates shown.
Masters are responsible for the craft and crews’ safety at all times, and should familiarise their crew with the closure, when navigating within the Osney reach.
