Boskalis Subsea Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006).
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Anderby Main Drain at National Grid Reference TF 53869 76060.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

35 cubic metres an hour

400 cubic metres a day

7,120 cubic metres a year
Between 1 April and 31 July inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for the purpose of creating a drilling fluid to facilitate the drilling of two underground pipe shafts.
Further details are: The point of abstraction is located within the Lindsey Marsh Internal Drainage Board system. The proposed abstraction lies within the Steeping Great Eau and Long Eau Abstraction Licencing Strategy.
