Blackmoor Estate Limited (The) has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 8 of The Water Abstraction (Transitional Provisions) Regulations 2017.
The Environment Agency has received the following abstraction licence application within the Arun and Western Streams catchment.
The application is to Vary a full licence to abstract water as follows:
- at an instantaneous rate of 1.1 litres per second
- 4 cubic metres an hour
- 46 cubic metres a day
- 5,665 cubic metres a year
- between 1 May and 31 August inclusive in each year
- at National Grid Reference (NGR) SU 75653 32414
- from abstraction location Unnamed stream at Blackmoor Easte, Blackmoor.
The water will be used for Trickle Irrigation.
