Details
Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) publishes details of all departmental spending over £25,000 on a monthly basis.
Note
BEIS replaced the Department for Business, Innovation and Skills (BIS) and the Department of Energy and Climate Change (DECC) in July 2016.
While we have been able to produce a single BEIS dataset from August 2016, users can filter by Entity (Column B) to show spend data at the former department level. In addition, there remain some differences as follows.
Ex-DECC expenditure details all items over £500 as extracted from the ex DECC accounting system. Transaction Numbers (Column G) contain 11 digits and are alpha numeric.
Ex-BIS expenditure details all items, regardless of value, as extracted from the ex-BIS accounting system. Transactions Numbers (Column G) contain 6 digits and are numeric. Ex-BIS also includes the following information wherever possible:
- description
- supplier post code
- supplier type
- contract number
- project code
- expenditure type
