This is the first annual modern slavery statement published by the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) and covers the period from 1 April 2020 until 31 March 2021.
It sets out how we take action against modern slavery in our supply chain, and covers:
- organisation structure and supply chain
- departmental policies relating to modern slavery
- risk assessment and due diligence
- training and awareness within the department
- key performance indicators to improve
