BEIS received a practice recommendations notice from the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
The notice highlighted issues with compliance in relation to our statutory duties under the Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) and timeliness of responses to requests for information.
The action plan aims to ensure that we meet our statutory obligations when responding to future FoI requests.
