This does, however, not prohibit him from contacting the department as part of his day to day relationships with BEIS. - For 2 years from his last day of service, Mr Betts must seek confirmation from the department that each individual commission is permissible under the terms of his consultancy before taking it up. If, after enquiry, the department takes the view that a commission is, or may be, outside the terms of the consultancy Mr Betts will be expected to submit a fresh application. |
