This covers former staff at Senior Civil Service payband 1 (SCS1) and payband 2 (SCS2) levels. It also covers special advisers of equivalent level.

For 6 months from Vivienne’s last day in Crown service, Vivienne should not become personally involved in lobbying the UK government on behalf of EY (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients); nor should Vivienne make use directly or indirectly, of contacts in the government and/or Crown service to influence policy, secure business/funding or otherwise unfairly advantage EY (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients). However, this does not preclude Vivienne from interacting with the UK Government, provided that it is related to the work of EY on matters aligned with government policy. In addition, this does not prohibit Vivienne from contacting the Department as part of building and maintaining any day-to-day relationships with government.

For 3 months from Vivienne’s last day in Crown service, Vivienne should not consult on behalf of EY (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients) on parties engaging in cluster negotiations on Carbon Capture, Utilisation and Storage (CCUS) or Hydrogen.
