Transparency information about outside appointments or employment taken up by former members of the the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS).

This covers former staff at Senior Civil Service payband 1 (SCS1) and payband 2 (SCS2) levels. It also covers special advisers of equivalent level.

- Prior to departure from Crown service, Catherine is removed from all domestic Net Zero Strategy work on UK sector specific policies being developed and agreed by Ministers.
- Catherine does not draw on (disclose or use for the benefit of themselves or the persons or organisations to which this advice refers) any privileged information available to them from their time in Crown service.
- For 2 years from Catherine’s last day in Crown service, Catherine should not become personally involved in lobbying the UK government on behalf of Impax Asset Management (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients); nor should Catherine make use, directly or indirectly, of contacts in the government and/or Crown service to influence policy, secure business/funding or otherwise unfairly advantage Impax Asset Management (including parent companies, subsidiaries, partners and clients).
- For the first 3 months of employment at Impax Asset Management, Catherine will work in internal facing projects only and be recused from committee items related to the UK investment portfolio management and UK investment sector business development projects.
- Catherine must continue to review the Business Appointment Rules guidance before accepting any new appointment or employment within the next 2 years.
