An application has been made to the Environment Agency by Becontree and District Angling Society. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application. The application is for a full licence to abstract water from the Confined Chalk underground strata at National Grid Reference (NGR) TQ 50860 85114 at Boyer’s Pit, Western Avenue, Dagenham, Essex.

The application is to abstract water as follows:

  • 5 cubic metres an hour
  • 97 cubic metres a day
  • 17,677 cubic metres a year

All year

The water will be used for topping up of a lake to maintain water level.
