Brief description of activity

This is an Environment Agency initiated variation and consolidation * a statutory review of permits in the Cement and Lime sector * the incorporation of legislative changes following the publication of “Best Available Techniques (BAT) conclusions” for the production of cement, lime and magnesium oxide – published 9 April 2013. We have considered requests for derogation from the Operator relating to BAT Conclusions 17, 18 and 21. We propose to grant these derogation requests.
