GEP3 is an 8-year project (2012 to 20) that seeks to improve school access, retention and learning outcomes for girls in 5 northern Nigerian states. Between 2014 and 2017 the project was piloting a series of interventions in primary schools and Integrated Qur’anic schools (IQS). Those most effective in improving education outcomes for girls will be scaled up.
