Barium carbonate imported from China (Anti-Dumping Duty 2232)

Following an expiry review, the Commission has advised by implementing Regulation (EU) No. 2017/1759, OJ L 250, that the current definitive anti-dumping duty on imports of barium carbonate, originating in the People’s Republic of China, will continue for a further 5 years with effect from 29 September 2017.

The product concerned is currently classified within commodity code 2836 6000 10.

The application of the duty rates specified for companies A606 and A607 shall be conditional on presentation to the member states customs authorities of a valid commercial invoice, on which shall appear a declaration dated and signed by an official of the entity issuing such invoice, identified by his or her name and function, as follows:

‘I, the undersigned, certify that the (volume) of (product concerned) sold for export to the European Union covered by this invoice was manufactured by (company name and address) (TARIC additional code) in (the People’s Republic of China). I declare that the information provided in this invoice is complete and correct.’

If no such invoice is presented, the duty applicable to all other companies shall apply.

For all companies, in cases where goods have been damaged before entry to free circulation, the price actually paid or payable is apportioned for the determination of customs value and the amount of the anti-dumping duty shall be reduced by a percentage corresponding to the apportioning of the price actually paid or payable.

This notice should be displayed to the public upon receipt.
