Details

Following the coming into force of the Modifications to Standard Conditions of Electricity Supply Licence on February 14 2015, government has now issued the standard terms of a Backstop Power Purchase Agreement.

This is the contract that would be entered into between a licenced supplier and an eligible generator under the Offtaker of Last Resort (OLR) mechanism. The OLR scheme will be operational from October 2015.
