The Environment Agency has received a new bespoke application for an environmental permit under the Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2016 from S. Norton and Co Limited.

This applies to the process of lead acid battery manual sorting and repackaging and the manual sorting and stripping of cables
Schedule 1 Part 2 Chapter 5 Section 5.6 Part A (1) – Temporary or underground storage of hazardous waste
a) Temporary storage of hazardous waste with a total capacity exceeding 50 tonnes pending any of the activities listed in Section 5.1, 5.2, 5.3 and paragraph (b) of this section except) temporary storage, pending collection, on the site where the waste is generated.
