B J & P M Gooderham has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/42/*G/0101 which authorises the abstraction of water from chalk via boreholes at National Grid References TL 89701 81261 and TL 89710 81264 at Snarehill, Brettenham, Norfolk.

The variation applied for is to reinstate an increase in the authorised abstraction quantities which expired in April 2024. The increase is from 4.55 cubic metres per hour, 27.3 cubic metres per day and 10,000 cubic metres per year to 14 cubic metres per hour, 83 cubic metres per day and 30,000 cubic metres per year.
