This non-statutory guidance is being published as an annex to the Awaab’s Law Phase 2: Guidance for social landlords.

It aims to further support social housing landlords in understanding how to triage the hazards under Awaab’s Law.

This guidance applies to Phase 2 of Awaab’s Law and will come into effect on 30 November 2026.
