Australia, Canada and the United Kingdom reaffirm their shared commitment to accelerating the global clean energy transition in response to ongoing energy security challenges and market disruption.

They emphasise that shifting from fossil fuels to clean electricity will improve resilience, affordability and economic competitiveness, while delivering health benefits. All three countries are making significant investments in renewables, electrification and grid modernisation, and agree to strengthen cooperation on secure, sustainable supply chains, including critical minerals and technologies. They highlight growing global investment in clean energy and commit to supporting electrification through initiatives such as ‘Electrify Now’.

The statement reiterates support for the Paris Agreement and the 1.5°C goal, recognising the need for increased climate finance and international collaboration. The countries call on others to strengthen climate commitments ahead of COP31, underlining that collective action is essential to delivering energy security and addressing climate change.
