Details

The Office for Product Safety and Standards (OPSS) is the enforcement authority responsible for ensuring compliance with the Electric Vehicles (Smart Charge Points) Regulations 2021. This study was commissioned from TÜV SÜD Ltd to provide OPSS with options to assess smart charge points against the Regulations when performing market surveillance activity. These employed 1 of 5 primary assessment strategies, which were then validated and discussed with stakeholders to ensure they were fit for purpose.
