IN pursuance of the powers conferred on it by sections 82 and 83 of the Countryside and Rights of Way Act 2000, and all other powers enabling them in that behalf, Natural England hereby varies the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Designation) Order 1969 as follows:

There shall be designated as Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty for the purposes of the 2000 Act, and added to the area designated by the 1969 Order, the area of land totalling approximately 38 square kilometres situated in the Counties of Essex and Suffolk and shown edged dark purple and shaded pale purple on maps at a scale of 1 :25,000 attached hereto.

This Order may be cited as the Suffolk Coast and Heaths Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (Designation Variation) Order 2019.

The Secretary of State, Environment, Food and Rural Affairs hereby confirms the foregoing Order. Signed by the authority of the Secretary of State on 7 July 2020.
