The purpose of this circular is to announce the approval and publication of the Approved Document amendments.
The changes made to the Approved Documents apply only to buildings and building work in England.
The amendments to Approved Document B 2019 edition as amended in 2020 and 2022 will be published today, 28 March 2024, and come into force on 30 September 2026.
