You should only use this form if your intended activity is limited to rearing of pigs or poultry intensively in an installation with more than 40,000 places for poultry or 2,000 places for production pigs (over 30kg) or 750 places for sows as defined under The Environmental Permitting (England and Wales) Regulations 2010 . The form guidance will assist you in completing the application form.

If you want to carry out any other activities that would require a permit (such as an anaerobic digester) you will need to fill in the appropriate parts of the Environmental Permitting Regulations (EPR) application form.

Changes to EPR guidance

The Environment Agency is currently updating EPR guidance to meet Smarter guidance and Government digital service requirements. Some of the documents referred to in these forms have been withdrawn and replaced with new versions. These forms and accompanying guidance are still current.
