The Industrial Injuries Advisory Council (IIAC) considered the available evidence. It concluded on balance that the case for prescription has not yet been made for teachers and healthcare workers.

The council does not recommend any changes to the list of prescribed diseases for which people can claim Industrial Injuries Disablement Benefit.
