Published 5 September 2019

Limited re-opening of the anti-circumvention investigation, concerning certain iron or steel fasteners, consigned from Malaysia whether or not originating there.

The Commission has announced in Implementing Regulation 2019/1374, OJ ref. L223, the limited re-opening of the anti-circumvention investigation, concerning certain iron or steel fasteners, consigned from Malaysia whether or not originating there.

This is to correct the illegality identified in regulation 723/2011 by the Court of Justice, in so far as it concerns Eurobolt BV.

Customs authorities must await the publication of the outcome of the re-opened investigation before deciding on any claims for repayment and remission of duties concerned by this regulation.

The measures in regulation 723/2011 were repealed in February 2016.

Interested parties wishing to make their views known, make submissions or requests to be heard (within the short timescales) should refer to the regulation for instructions.
