An application has been made to the Environment Agency by Anglian Water Services Limited. The Environment Agency are required to give notice of this application.

The application is to vary a full licence to abstract (take) water serial number 6/33/56/*G/0291 which authorises the abstraction of water from groundwater at National Grid Reference (NGR) TL 76 91.

The variation applied for is to add a new source to the licence to abstract water at the following rates:

  • 84 cubic metres per hour
  • 2,000 cubic metres per day
  • 730,000 cubic metres per year

There will be no change to the overall authorised annual and daily aggregate quantities from all sources under this variation. The water will be used for Public Water Supply.
