Anglian Water Services Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract water from groundwater at TG 08 11, East Tuddenham, Norfolk.
The application is to abstract water as follows.
- 98 cubic metres an hour
- 2,350 cubic metres a day
- 850,000 cubic metres a year
All year.
The water will be used for public water supply.
Further details are: the licence quantities will be aggregated with other licences held by the applicant located close by to ensure that no additional water is abstracted from the area as a whole.
