The Future Border and Immigration System (FBIS) is a Home Office programme established to design and deliver a modernised, digital border and immigration system. This inspection has been undertaken to ensure that eight specific benefits upon which the FBIS programme was set up to deliver, have been delivered, or are in the process of being delivered, with demonstrable efficiency and effectiveness enhancements to operations.
