The Environment Agency gives notice that it has submitted to the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs, for confirmation a scheme under Section 3 of the Land Drainage Act 1991 making provision for the following matters:

  • the amalgamation of the Lower Medway Internal Drainage District and the North Kent Marshes Internal Drainage District into a single Drainage District
  • the abolition of the Internal Drainage Boards for those Districts
  • the constitution of a new Internal Drainage Board with the name of North Kent Marshes Water Level Management Board

A copy of the scheme is available for inspection at the offices of:
