Details

This Direction is made by the Secretary of State for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy under sections 7(3)(a) and 107 of the Electricity Act 1989 (and pursuant to standard condition 59 of the electricity supply licence). It sets out data protection provisions for domestic electricity suppliers who receive information from the Secretary of State to help prepare for domestic and non-domestic Alternative Fuel Payment schemes.

Subsequent Directions will be issued to establish the actual schemes.
