This pilot has tested the effectiveness of using Alternative Dispute Resolution (ADR) techniques in Large and/or Complex tax and related disputes to either resolve the issue(s) outright by achieving a mutually acceptable outcome or by bringing clarity to the factual landscape or arguments to make litigation more efficient.

It is run by HMRC’s Dispute Resolution Unit (DRU).
