This letter notifies chief housing officers that the Secretary of State has made the Allocation of Housing and homelessness (Miscellaneous Provisions) (England) Regulations 2006. These Regulations, which come into force on 9 October 2006, are largely technical in nature and do not represent any change to housing policy.
