Albanwise Farming Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.
The application is for a full licence to abstract groundwater from two ponds near Beverley located within an area within the boundary of National Grid References TA 08098 44303, TA 08799 43867, TA 08703 43712 and TA 07971 44188.
The application is to abstract water as follows:

206 cubic metres an hour

2,726 cubic metres a day

103,000 cubic metres a year
-
between 1 April and 31 March inclusive in each year.
The water will be used for Spray Irrigation.
