Active IQ has surrendered its status as an Ofqual-recognised awarding organisation.
Active IQ was acquired by NCFE (RN5156) on 22 November 2022. Following the integration of Active IQ’s EPA provision, systems and staff into NCFE, Active IQ notified Ofqual in September 2026 of its intention to surrender Ofqual recognition. Its remaining regulated qualifications have been transferred to NCFE.
The surrender took effect on 30 October 2026. From that date, Ofqual no longer regulates Active IQ or any qualifications it may offer.
Before surrendering recognition, Active IQ had 47 regulated qualifications and issued 9,076 certificates in the last year.
Active IQ has confirmed to Ofqual that there are no outstanding issues relating to its regulated provision and has assured Ofqual that the surrender and qualification transfer arrangements have not adversely impacted learners. Any queries relating to former Active IQ regulated qualifications should now be directed to NCFE.
