Details

This £50,000 grant is available until 31 March 2014 for groups of 3 or more schools applying to form a multi-academy trust (MAT), where the majority of the schools are primary.

To qualify for this, at least 1 school in the chain must be performing well.

Where small schools (with under 210 pupils) are joining the MAT, an additional small schools supplement is available.

Schools with under 100 pupils will receive an additional £5,000 and those with between 100 and 210 pupils will receive £2,000.
