A R Wilson Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.
The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application (in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006).
The application is to vary licence serial number 6/33/58/*S/0059 which authorises the abstraction of water from the Trout stream at National Grid Reference TF 68947 14643 at East Winch, King’s Lynn, Norfolk.
The variation applied for will allow abstraction for the purpose of filling a reservoir for subsequent spray irrigation and increase the quantity of water that can be abstracted between November and March inclusive each year by the following amounts:

72 cubic metres an hour

1,728 cubic metres a day

227,000 cubic metres a year
The additional winter water will be subject to a condition which will prevent abstraction during times of low flow in the Trout Stream.
