This document sets out the broad principles of collaboration between the National Data Guardian for Health and Social Care and the Information Commissioner. It covers the legal framework governing the sharing of relevant information and intelligence. The purpose of this Memorandum of Understanding is to enable closer working to help both parties discharge their regulatory and/or statutory functions.
