Dear David,
The Government and UK Statistics Authority’s joint consultation on reform to Retail Prices Index methodology closed for responses on 21 August. In April, we committed to respond to the consultation this autumn.
I am writing to confirm that we have agreed to publish our joint response to the consultation alongside the Spending Review on Wednesday 25 November.
I will be publishing this letter on the Treasury website.
