Details of the application

A Edgley Limited has applied to the Environment Agency for a licence.

The Environment Agency is giving notice of this application in accordance with Section 37 of the Water Resources Act 1991 and Regulation 6 of the Water Resources (Abstraction and Impounding) Regulations 2006.

The application is to vary licence serial number AN/033/0053/106 which authorises the abstraction of water from the ‘March Third District Drainage Commissioners Internal Draining Board’ and ‘March East Internal Drainage Board’.

The variation applied for is to add the following abstraction reaches and points to the current licence at National Grid References:

  • TL 39968 96568 to TL 40340 96113
  • TL 39606 96489 to TL 39776 96529
  • TL 39559 96837 to TL 40225 97056
  • TL 43548 94038
  • TL 43606 94248
  • TL 43297 94580 to TL 43671 94546
  • TL 43748 94580 to TL 43952 95502
  • TL 40225 97056 to TL 40242 96650
  • TL 40242 96650 to TL 39632 96500

This variation also proposes an increase to the hourly abstraction from 60 cubic metres per hour to 120 cubic metres per hour for these new locations.
