A clear and secure democracy: register to vote website

An independent review on findings after the electoral registration website went offline on 7 June 2016.

This report contains the findings from an independent review on the government’s actions after the electoral registration website went offline.

This meant that no-one was prevented from registering to vote and taking part in the EU Referendum. This review provides the lessons learned.
