The 23-26 Government Debt Strategy aims to further improve the approach to the resolution of debt owed to government, enabling the vision of Fair Debt Outcomes for All. The strategy sets out the approach to achieve this vision through preventing avoidable debt, resolving debt to agreed standards and improving government capability to resolve debt efficiently and effectively.
