Please note that when information is requested involving small numbers of employees it is sometimes necessary to apply Statistical Disclosure Controls (such as grouping of bands of information) to ensure compliance with the Data Protection Act.  In line with a recent Information Commissioner decision the Home Office applies controls to any results involving fewer than 3 within a unit of disclosure.  In the case of this request salary bands above £90,000 have been grouped to avoid disclosure.
