Human-equivalent Lactoferrin Alpha RP2296- The Committee reviewed this novel food application for human-equivalent lactoferrin alpha for the second time. Information gaps to meet the requirements of the novel foods technical guidance were identified in the identity, production process, composition, specification, proposed uses and toxicology sections. The Secretariat was advised to seek further information from the applicant to support further review of this dossier at the next available meeting.

Draft cell-cultivated products guidance: Toxicology and growth media hazard guidance - the Committee reviewed this FSA owned supplementary guidance for cell-cultivated products, specifically in relation to toxicology and growth media. The Committee provided feedback and this input will be incorporated into the document ahead of publication.

Cell-cultivated duck RP2241– The Committee reviewed this CCP application for the third time. The Committee reviewed the set of applicant responses covering identity, production process, composition, specifications, proposed uses and intakes, ADME, nutritional information and allergenicity. The Secretariat was advised to seek clarification from the applicant to support the review of hazards at the next available meeting.
- CBD- Group C RP450- The Committee reviewed this novel food application for Cannabis sativa extract for the first time. Initial discussion explored the toxicological data supplied in the context of the wider knowledge of CBD as a substance from the literature. The Secretariat will refine the Committee Advice Document to inform further discussion at the next available meeting
