Advisory Committee on Novel Foods and Processes

The 177th meeting of the ACNFP will be held at 10:00am on the 17th of June 2026 at 64 Victoria Street, London by invite only and on Microsoft Teams (online & dial in).

Members are reminded of the need to announce any commercial interests in the business of the Committee prior to the discussions on each item.

In accordance with agreed procedures, the Secretariat is duty bound to keep a record of the names of Members who have declared interests at meetings of the Committee, giving dates, names of relevant products and companies, details of the interest declared, and whether the Member took part in the proceedings.

5. Human-equivalent Lactoferrin Alpha RP2296 - The Committee will review this full novel food application for the second time and identify key considerations for the assessment and any data gaps. ACNFP/177/01

6. Draft cell-cultivated products guidance: Toxicology and growth media hazard guidance (reserved business)- The Committee will provide feedback on a draft advisory document to assist applicants in the preparation of high-quality CCP applications. ACNFP/177/02

7. Cell-cultivated duck RP2241 (reserved business)- The Committee will consider the response from the applicant to support progression of this full CCP novel food application. ACNFP/177/03

8. CBD - Group C RP450- (reserved business) - The Committee will review this full novel food application for the first time and identify key considerations for the assessment and any data gaps. ACNFP/177/04

9. CBD new group A RP1291-(reserved business)- The Committee will review the dossier for the first time along with a draft Committee Advice Document. ACNFP/177/05

10. Annual Report – the Committee will review the annual report to ensure that it is accurate and reflects the work of the Committee for the period between April 2025 to March 2026. ACNFP/177/06
