Food and You 2 – Wave 11
Food and You 2 Wave 11 is a large-scale UK survey commissioned by the Food Standards Agency to monitor consumer attitudes, knowledge, and behaviours in relation to food.
The report explores a range of topics relevant to microbiological food safety, including:

Food hygiene and food handling behaviours in domestic settings

Public awareness and understanding of food safety risks

Self-reported experience of foodborne illness

Food purchasing, preparation, and consumption habits

Attitudes towards and trust in the food system and regulators

Specific considerations relating to vulnerable groups
The survey combines quantitative and qualitative data to provide insight into how consumers interact with food and food safety advice.
