Alex Davies-Jones MP

Biography
Alex Davies-Jones has served as the Labour MP for Pontypridd since 2019. She was appointed Minister for Victims and Tackling Violence Against Women and Girls (VAWG) on 9 July 2024, serving in the role until 12 May 2026. She returned to the position on 22 July 2026.
As Minister, Alex is responsible for the government’s work to support victims of crime and tackle violence against women and girls. Throughout her parliamentary career, she has been a strong advocate for victims’ rights, women’s safety and access to justice.
