This personal information charter explains how we look after your information.
The HMPO privacy information notice supplements the Home Office personal information charter. It explains your rights as an individual when using services provided by His Majesty’s Passport Office (HMPO) and sets out how HMPO uses personal information provided to them.

The privacy information notice is provided in accordance with data protection legislation which incorporates the UK General Data Protection Regulations (UK GDPR) and has been created following the guidance issued by the Information Commissioner’s Office.
